CHANDLER W. TRAVIS
FOUNDING ATTORNEY

Chandler W. Travis is an attorney focused exclusively on representing community associations throughout Arizona. As the founding attorney of The Travis Law Firm, PLC, he provides general counsel, litigation, collection and covenant enforcement services to community associations.

Chandler has practiced law since 1996. He has litigated and defended numerous issues for associations, such as breach of contract, declaratory action and claims against directors and officers for breach of fiduciary duty. His expertise also spans litigation collection of delinquent assessments, lien foreclosure, covenant enforcement, contract disputes and defamation cases for associations. Chandler was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1996 and is licensed to practice law before all Arizona state courts, and the United States District Court of Arizona.

In order to best represent clients, Chandler maintains an affiliate membership with the Arizona Association of Community Managers and a member of the Community Associations Institute- Central Arizona Chapter. He served on the Board of Directors of The Leadership Centre, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of community members, for many years. He has taught continuing legal education classes to attorneys, community managers, board members and developers on all aspects of association law. While in law school, Chandler was a member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review. He continues to write for legal publications, contributing association articles relating to community associations and Arizona legislative updates.
