Melissa S. Doolan, Esq. Receives National Recognition as a CCAL Fellow
National recognition honors distinguished leadership and achievement in community association law
PHOENIX, ARIZ. — Melissa S. Doolan, Esq., Attorney at The Travis Law Firm, PLC, has been granted fellowship in the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). More than 4,000 lawyers practice community association law in the United States, yet fewer than 185 attorneys nationwide can distinguish themselves as CCAL fellows.
Doolan earned this national recognition due to her outstanding leadership, commitment to the advancement of the legal principles and practical tools necessary for community associations to thrive. She possesses high ethics, strong analytical and writing skills, a substantial depth of experience and the ability to teach others in the field.
CCAL Fellows are recognized for distinguished professional achievement, leadership, and contributions to the advancement of community association law. Fellows demonstrate high standards of ethics, substantial experience, strong analytical and writing skills, and a commitment to educating and advancing the profession.
Doolan has practiced law since 2008 and has been with The Travis Law Firm since 2009, where she focuses exclusively on representing community associations and nonprofit corporations in matters including general counsel, covenant enforcement, litigation and collections. Her career in community association law began prior to law school, working as a collections paralegal. Doolan has presented at the CCAL Community Association Law Seminar and CAI Annual Conference, and has written articles and taught educational programs on a variety of community association issues for community managers, community members and board directors. She is a member of the Legislative Action
Committee for the CAI Arizona Chapter, CAI Amicus Committee and CAI Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Education Committee for the AACM.
